Oh, hi there!
My name is Paul. I’m a young man that flew from my nest in England to distant lands in the search of adventure and, well, job opportunities. I chose to travel to Colombia and live in its capital, Bogotá, working as a writer.
I’m a 20-something graduate in English Literature (studied in England) that’s travelled a fair amount around Europe, a little in Asia and a decent amount in South America. I’ve worked in London for a charity in communications and in Buenos Aires as a content writer, as well as various other small jobs (including a pizza delivery boy, awwwww yeah, heads up to my co-pilot Ian). I am a massive music, film and football lover, so I’ll apologise in advance for every time I try and squeeze something in about these hobbies.
I work as a part-time writer for Off 2 Colombia, a website that’s pioneering the distribution of (accurate) information about Colombia. It’s a great project and one that’s more than timely since Colombia, as you’ll soon find out if you’re coming here, is rife with a palpable sense of optimism and truly feels on the cusp of something special.
